Terms of sale and returns
1. Object
These terms and conditions govern the purchase of products through the Gourmet Jorge website. By placing an order, the customer declares that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
Gourmet Jorge may modify these terms and conditions at any time. The applicable terms and conditions will be those in effect at the time the order is placed.
2. Products
Gourmet Jorge offers an assortment of products, including:
- Meat and meat products
- Canned vegetables
- Legumes
- Dried fruit
- Complementary products
- Orders to companies
3. How to place an order
The customer must follow the purchase process indicated on the website, selecting products and quantities.
Weights and tolerances (products sold by weight):
- The weights shown are net weights of the product shipped, unless otherwise stated that the weight is gross or includes packaging.
- Due to the nature of the product, it may not be possible to supply the exact weight indicated. There could be a variation of up to [percentage missing]. 5%.
- Any variation greater than 5% will be refunded to the customer.
Availability by area:
Some products may not be available for delivery in certain areas.
4. Order confirmation (purchase validation)
Once payment is made, Gourmet Jorge will send an email order confirmation.
Now is the time to check that everything is correct. If you disagree with the information provided, you can request a modification or cancellation as indicated in the cancellations section.
5. Order modifications and cancellation (deadline)
If you need to modify or cancel an order, you must let us know. within 24 hours of order confirmation, through:

- and whenever the order has not been sent.
6. Prices and taxes
The prices applicable to each product are those indicated on the website on the date of the order and include, where applicable, the VAT.
Depending on the buyer's country of residence and their status (business/professional or individual), the transaction may be exempt from or not subject to VAT, so the final price may vary from the one initially shown.
7. Payment methods
Payment is made through a secure payment gateway.
The following methods are accepted:
7.1. Credit or debit card
- Cards accepted Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
- The card details are entered directly into the bank's platform and Gourmet Jorge does not store card details.
- To facilitate future purchases, you can save a token Linked to the card. This identifier is generated by the bank and only allows purchases from the customer's account at Gourmet Jorge.
- If you wish to remove the token, you can request it by writing to pedidos@gourmetjorge.com.

7.2. PayPal
At the moment not offered payment via PayPal.
8. Discount coupons
Coupons or discount codes:
- They are for individual use and not cumulative.
- They are subject to the validity dates indicated.
- Gourmet Jorge reserves the right to cancel promotions if it detects abusive or inappropriate use.
9. Subscriptions (if applicable)
Payment for each delivery is made at the time of the order and, with the indicated periodicity, new deliveries are charged automatically.
10. Shipping and transport
10.1. Transport cost
Transportation will be free for orders of value greater than 80 € in products.
10.2. Order Preparation
Orders placed Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be prepared Tuesday.
10.3. Delivery Date
Delivery date:
- It can be modified before finalizing the purchase, by choosing any later date.
- Once the order has been placed, if it has not yet been shipped, you can also modify the delivery date by writing to pedidos@gourmetjorge.com.
11. Shipping Zones
Currently, we only ship to certain postal codes within the city of Madrid:
- 28011, 28019, 28024, 28025, 28044, 28047
The user must enter the corresponding postal code. If the street or town indicated does not actually match the postal codes entered, the order will be cancelled.
12. Delivery times (guideline)
Except for holidays or other exceptional circumstances:
- To receive it Monday or Tuesday: buy Friday or earlier.
- To receive it Wednesday: buy Monday or earlier.
- To receive it Thursday: buy Tuesday or earlier.
Should any unforeseen issues arise with the delivery, the customer will be contacted by email (and, if necessary, by telephone). A second delivery attempt may be made. If delivery is unsuccessful, the customer will need to contact the carrier or Gourmet Jorge and will be responsible for any additional costs associated with subsequent deliveries.
Return policy
13. General condition
Returns of perishable products will not be accepted once their original packaging has been broken and part of the merchandise has been consumed.
Cancellations and/or returns will only be accepted under the terms described below.
14. Cancellation
The customer may cancel their order and request a full refund if it has not yet been sent.
To do this, you must contact us as soon as possible through:

- Indicating the customer's details and the order number.
15. Returns (incidents, damage or defective product)
The products are prepared and packaged under strict processes. Upon receiving your order, please check that the seals have not been tampered with or damaged.
If the order reaches 24 hours later As agreed, the customer must accept the delivery and, upon opening the box, if they detect any damaged parts, they can report the issue by sending an email to pedidos@gourmetjorge.com with:
- Product names
- Number of defective parts
- Product photographs
Returns of packaged products will not be accepted once they have been opened and/or handled and do not retain their original packaging.
Returns will only be accepted Orders with evidence of damage in transit will not be accepted, and any complaint must be made at the same time as the order is received.
If the product arrives in poor condition, Gourmet Jorge will assume the return shipping costs, provided that the products are in their original packaging and have not been consumed in whole or in part.
To process the claim, the customer must contact within 24 hours and write to pedidos@gourmetjorge.com indicating:
- Name
- Order number
- Detailed description of what happened
16. Right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal may not be exercised (except for error or defect in the product or service contracted) in the cases provided for by the applicable regulations, including:
- Foods that spoil quicklyFresh or perishable products are exempt from the right of withdrawal.
- Food unsealed for hygiene reasons: sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, once unsealed.
For articles non-perishable, The customer will have the right to withdraw from the contract during a period of 14 calendar days without stating the reason, in accordance with applicable regulations.
